Stella & Chewy's Freeze Dried raw Chicken Morsels

Freeze-Dried Raw Dinner Morsels are one of the staples we use at the rescue to help keep our ferrets healthy and thriving 🐾

We blend the morsels into a powder, mix them with warm water and added nutrients, and turn them into the warm “soupies” our ferrets absolutely love. For many rescues, seniors, picky eaters, and sick ferrets, soupies can be an important source of hydration and protein.

Ferrets are obligate carnivores, meaning their bodies require high animal protein to survive and stay healthy. This is one of the ways we help make sure they’re getting the nutrition they need.

Wonder Paws Bone Broth Powder

We add Wonder Paws Bone Broth Powder to our ferrets’ “soupies” to give them extra nutrients, hydration, and support—especially for seniors, rescues recovering from illness, picky eaters, and ferrets needing a little extra boost 🐾

We mix it into our warm soupie blend along with freeze-dried raw proteins and other supplements to help support digestion, immune health, joints, and overall wellness.

At the rescue, soupies are more than just a treat—they’re often an important part of helping fragile ferrets maintain weight, hydration, and strength.

ZuPreem Ferret food

ZuPreem Ferret Food is one of several high-protein kibbles we use at the rescue to help keep our ferrets healthy, nourished, and thriving 🐾

Because ferrets can be extremely picky eaters, we often continue feeding the foods they were already eating when they arrive at the rescue before slowly transitioning them to our preferred mix. Sudden food changes can upset their digestion, so we try to make the process gradual and less stressful for them.

We currently feed a blend of several ferret foods to help provide variety, balanced nutrition, and flexibility for ferrets with different tastes and needs.

This formula includes high animal protein, added vitamins and minerals, and is made without corn—important for obligate carnivores like ferrets who rely on meat-based nutrition.

Wild Harvest Advanced Nutrition Ferret Food

Wild Harvest Advanced Nutrition Ferret Food is one of the foods we use as part of our rotating kibble mix at the rescue 🐾

Since many ferrets arrive eating completely different diets, we try to slowly transition them instead of making sudden food changes, which can cause stress and digestive upset.

This formula includes added taurine and high protein, both important for supporting the health and energy levels ferrets need as obligate carnivores.

At the rescue, we often mix several quality ferret foods together to help provide balanced nutrition while also encouraging picky eaters to adjust more easily to new foods.

Oxbow Essentials Ferret Food

Oxbow Essentials Ferret Food is one of the high-protein foods we use as part of our ferret kibble mix at the rescue 🐾

Ferrets have very fast metabolisms and require diets rich in animal protein and fat to help support healthy energy levels, muscle maintenance, and overall wellness. We often combine several quality ferret foods together to help provide balanced nutrition while also helping picky eaters adjust more easily.

At the rescue, many ferrets arrive eating different brands and diets, so we try to transition foods slowly to avoid digestive upset and unnecessary stress during an already overwhelming time for them.

We appreciate that this formula is designed specifically for ferrets and includes added vitamins and minerals to help support long-term health.

Wysong Epigen Ferret Food

Wysong Epigen 90 is one of the staple foods we use at the rescue for many of our ferrets because of its very high animal protein content and starch-free formula 🐾

Ferrets are obligate carnivores, meaning their bodies are designed to thrive on meat-based proteins rather than fillers and carbohydrates. Many ferret owners and rescues use Wysong as part of a balanced kibble mix to help support healthy energy, muscle maintenance, and overall nutrition.

At the rescue, we often blend multiple ferret foods together to help picky eaters transition more easily while still providing a nutrient-rich diet for ferrets of different ages and health needs.

Since many rescue ferrets arrive eating completely different foods, gradual transitions are important to help avoid stress and digestive upset.

All Free Clear Laundry Detergent

All Free Clear Laundry Detergent is the detergent we use at the rescue for washing ferret bedding, blankets, hammocks, and fleece 🐾

Because ferrets spend so much time sleeping, burrowing, and cuddling in their bedding, we try to avoid heavily scented detergents and unnecessary harsh fragrances that can linger on fabrics and irritate sensitive animals.

At the rescue, we go through a LOT of laundry every week, so having a concentrated detergent that is gentle, unscented, and made for sensitive skin has been important for both the ferrets and the people caring for them.

Clean bedding is a huge part of rescue life—and honestly, probably one of the never-ending jobs around here 😅

Bounty Paper Towels are one of those rescue supplies we seem to go through endlessly around here 😅🐾

From cleaning cages and wiping up messes to handling food prep, laundry overflow, accidents, and everyday ferret chaos, paper towels are something we use constantly throughout the day.

Having durable, absorbent towels that hold up well during cleaning makes a huge difference when caring for multiple ferrets and keeping rescue spaces sanitary and comfortable.

Rescue life may be full of cuddles and cute faces—but it also involves a LOT of cleaning behind the scenes 💛

Folgers Coffee

There’s almost always a pot of coffee brewing at the rescue ☕

Between cleaning cages, doing laundry, organizing supplies, caring for medical ferrets, answering messages, and handling the daily chaos that comes with rescue life… coffee has become part of the survival kit around here 😅

Our volunteers give their time, energy, and hearts to help care for the ferrets, so keeping the coffee flowing is one small way we try to make long rescue days a little warmer and more welcoming.

Some rescues run on schedules.
Ours runs on ferrets, fleece… and coffee 💛
