Helping Ferrets & Educating Humans

Our Events

From community fundraisers to Girl Scout visits, donation drives, and adoption days,

this is where we share the moments that help keep the rescue running and the ferret facts flowing.

Funraisers that Fuel the Rescue

These events raise funds for food, vet care, supplies, and all the behind-the-scenes things ferrets need to thrive.

Bingo nights, bottle & can drives, mall events, yoga with goats, and everything in between.

Education

We don’t just rescue ferrets.

We teach people how to care for them, understand them, and advocate for them.

From Girl Scout troops to community groups, these visits help spread awareness

about proper ferret care, ethical treatment, and why rescue matters.

Because Informed Humans Make Better Pet Parents!

Education That Goes Deeper

This educational presentation was created specifically for Girl Scout troops and community groups. It walks through ferret care, rescue realities, and why advocacy matters, using real examples and age-appropriate storytelling.

This year’s Girl Scout cookie mascot, the endangered Black-Footed Ferret, gave us the perfect opportunity to connect conservation, rescue, and responsible care, and to show how everyday choices can help protect animals like them.

At the end, scouts are encouraged to ask their troop leaders how they can help, through awareness, fundraising, or community action.

So Girl Scouts, we can’t give thin mint cookies to the ferrets,

but we can use your help. Ask your troop leader what your troop can do for ferrets.

Outreach & Adoption Days

You’ll find us wherever ferrets need a voice.

Community adoption events, meet-and-greets, and local business outreach all help connect ferrets with loving homes and supportive humans.

Advocacy & Awareness

Not all education is easy to watch, but it’s still important.

This presentation explains why mass breeding and animal testing practices harm ferrets, and why rescues work so hard to provide ethical alternatives. It’s shared to inform, not to shock, and to help people make better, more compassionate choices.
