About Us
Who We Are & What We Do
Furever Ferrets is a NY state 501(c)(3) licensed nonprofit ferret rescue dedicated to helping abandoned, neglected, and surrendered ferrets receive the care they deserve. Since 2013, we have provided medical treatment, foster placement, and thoughtful adoption services to ferrets throughout the Greater Rochester, NY area.
As a foster-based rescue, every ferret in our care receives individualized attention in a home environment.
We work closely with veterinarians, volunteers, and adopters to ensure each ferretās physical and emotional needs are met before they move on to their next chapter.
Rescue work is ongoing and often unpredictable. Some ferrets need only a short stay before adoption, while others require long-term or lifelong care. Our ability to continue this work depends on community support, responsible adoption, and the generosity of those who believe every ferret deserves a safe place to land.
